Out & Equal is committed to focusing on the contemporary issues faced by people of color in the workplace by developing programs that meet the need of the community and ensuring that Out & Equal’s ongoing programming serve people of color.
The People of Color Advisory Committee assists Out & Equal in identifying strategies that can be employed make our programs more inclusive and to broaden the impact of our programs to the entire LGBT community. This committee meets approximately six times a year via teleconference. A variety of issues are addressed by this committee including analysis of current programming, diversity of internal stakeholders, and diversity of program participants.

The Transgender Advisory Committee assists Out & Equal in developing strategies that meet the needs of the Transgender Community in the workplace. This committee meets approximately 6 times a year via teleconference. A variety of issues are addressed by this committee including analysis of current programming, ways to broaden the reach of Out & Equal programs to the Transgender Community, and internal Transgender stakeholder representation.

Broadening our Geographic Scope has been a key strategic plan for the past 4+ years and in 2016 we are expanding the approach as documented here. Out & Equal’s vision is LGBT workplace equality for all sexual orientations, gender identities, expressions and characteristics globally.
The Global Advisory Committee is a primary source of leadership and guidance on how Out & Equal provides support globally on LGBT workplace equality, The Committee meets on bi-monthly bases via teleconference.
